Xmas: Is that Spirit still there in you?

From early childhood XMAS seasons has been one of the most special seasons in my life. The winter, the snow, the blinking light bulbs and the cozy cozy feeling.... all add up to it. It really feels as though we have been waiting for the lord and he is arriving. the long waitin has paid off. the time to rejoice has come. A feeling of renewal, A feeling of revival...... A time to reunite with ur beloved or simply a time to rejoice. And with a Brand new year just round the corner, XMAS has always been special.

The way we celebrate XMAS has differed. Last year, i had been to watch the famous 3D movie Polar Express. It rekindled that child in me. ...always expecting santa to turn up someday and fill my stocking. I had the feeling that santa gave up on me, cos we didnt have a chimney in our apartments. By the time, I grew up to realise the reality I expected my parents to give me gifts on XMAS. Little did i realise the real importance of XMAS.

Growing up into a teen and then an adult XMAS has been with friends. Gifts, chocolates, and wine....... Some really gala time. But never did forget the real importance of the day.Today after 23 years I feel the same special feeling for XMAS.This year i am spending my XMAS with my family and its special cos i am getting to be with whole of my family after 3 whole years. Yes its special.... atleast for me.

This XMAS will pass soon too and so will 2006. Then a new year will start..... the wait will begin again for the Christ: the New born King!

Wish you all a Merry Christmas!

Yuuhuuuu.. I guess i am back (again)

I presume not many of you will be reading this. Its been quite a while since i wrote something. Are my fans dissappointed? well there have been various reasons for my abstaining from blogging.

People have been telling me to take blogging more professionally! Now they should also realise that Sanjster is seldom professional! ;-) But anyways.. its always wat customers demand!
Hence i took a long 3 months off researching on how i can improve my style of expressing my views. I wanted to stop using my blog as a medium of my resentment.

Secondly in the last 3 months i have been transiting from Hyderabad to Bangalore and i didnt want the Interpol or the RAW to keep track of my movements. I had to settle down safely in some bunkers before they actually get a fair idea about my whereabouts!

Okie all of this is utter crap! I was just lazy to hit the webpage!!

For all those who didnt know wat has been happening with me, I quit my job in my earlier company in Hyderabad and came down to Bangalore (the so-called IT hub of India). Let me not start with Bangalore cos i would again start cribbing about how fate plays funny cruel games with me. Lets just say the Grass is always greener on the other side!

Anyways now i am working with a Mighty IT company: known for its size and Domain leadership. But somehow i feel its the same ole wine in a new bottle.....

That is very much about me.. very soon u will see another travel blog from me cos i am going for another travel ......A Business trip to Amsterdam! I know i told i had to go on December 4th. But due to some unexpected situations i had to cancel my trip. (did i just tell u about the green grass...;-) ) But check out for more updates on the same in the near future.....

Well well... Today was a boring day!
I decided to work Reasonably from today.... just work for the efforts i was recognised for. So I decided to come to office by train. My Payscale does not permit me to use a luxury mode of transport.. so going to use the public mode of transport. MMTS!!

and that makes me to leave office at 6:45 to catch the train..... hehe... wanan c my boss's face go red ..... Who cares.. any ways i am a reasonable worker!...the R factor will prevail..wont it...hehe

ok ok..me got to rush... train is in another 20 mins!

"Reasonable"

I never really got it how people rate you for your performance when they dont even have any clue of the kind of work you do. Naa its not that i am using you as a victim of my frustration. My frustration died long back. its no more! Isnt it injustice to be rated by a person who does nothing but yap about his 'never achieved' acheivements. He doesnt know about what u do or how u do it?

What beats me the most is .... If my work is to be termed as 'Reasonable' then I wanna really see how the a Star performer work?!!!!

Basically all that happens here is Fake Orgasms! They just fake it for you that you are doing a nice work and they give u timely pleasures. nothing in the long run. today if it is me who has to be pleased , tomorrow it will be you! Momentary satisfaction!

The top Notch management use U as Chess coin for their own needs. What are we.... slaves? or some trodden prostitutes! No kidding!!! and its not just the height of my frustration. After two years of slogging to reach a position and make my mark..... Trying everyday to outshine the crowd and make it Big in this vast industry.... I end up still in the same old place......
Dont u tell me my effort might not have been enough..that my superiors never noticed it.... I very well remember how my name was used in functions to project the acheivements of the team... "first team to be sent from the team to a Billable project and tht too ONSITE!".

If that wasnt enough i have a flood of commendations which were sent to my boss which rated my efforts as extraordinary. What did he do to those? ate them? or simply Shoved them up?All those sloggings we had to do without proper sleep or food or rest! Onsite was just a suger coated tag....the bitterness lies deep inside. Ask the team how we both were overloaded just because the project team was not professional on taking requirements from the client or implementing the functionality

Inspite of all these... if my efforts are still to be rated as just reasonable. Tell me .... What would motivate me to Wake up tomorrow morning and dress up to come for work when i know what ever i do here i am still a 'Reasonable performer' here.

Recent Events:

  • Deepak is back from home. With a lot of goodies! Anybody who would like to haev some kerala sweets might want to step by my place.

Great Expectations!

You very well know the song summer of 69 by Bryan Adams. i must say today i am encountering something like tht.... a lot of issues have turned my crystal ball today. Juby got married today and Dhanya is getting married soon... and the best of allllllllll i will be returning to my old project ....the sada hua Satyam CRM Project! No offense to the team but yeah we all unanimously agree that the project is getting sick.

Bijou will be moving out and so will Supali get into the biggest CRM Telecom project in Satyam. So i guess it is nice for some but bad for other. I had my chance and I am glad that they are gettign theirs, What about others? why are we all stuck here?

Anyways my company's code of conduct does not permit me to talk bad about it. So i am not doing that....... Does anybody sell bad as bad.... we just say it could have been better.... right?

well thats our policy. :-)

Gud night to all.....

A new day... A dul day

hey..... a lazy afternoon..leading me to get into a reflection of my yesteryears

Of late there was a proposal of our Macetronics.... after 2 years... well we are a group of people spread aroud the country ..what would u expect... a lot of chaos over date and venue... there are some people trying to organise it and some like me are trying to disrupt it..... not purposely... but i beleive people would take that to be my intention... anyways.. i dont mind.. just voiced my opinion. I QuIt NoW!!!

Got other things in my Plate....
Hey guys The SGI Peoplesoft CRM implementation Phase 2 is goign live today. After 2 weeks of delay we are finally thru.. now we can go home!!!!

But one thing is certain.. a day without work is really boring.. i am dieing here with no work and nothign to do. When i had work i used to wish i was free for atleast a day and now when i am free i feel so bored.
never mind... now i have to set other priorities in life...like our country sets half yearly plans its time for me to set new plans for the next half year. dont worry it wont affect you in anyway.... but will keep you posted for sure....

ok now i am tired of typing.....
Adios
